The items pictured here are pieces that Rob has turned using materials other
than wood. The acrylics come in a dazzling range of colours and the results
often look like blown glass or glazed pottery. The addition of turned aluminum
adds another dimension of sparkle.

The newest additions to Rob's list of materials are Palm Nuts - Nubian, Betel,
Raphia and Stilt Root, to name a few. Check out the before and after photos.

'Dalmation' vase turned from Nubian palm nut with Ebony rim and base - 1 1/16 inch tall & 3/4 inch diameter.
Bowl turned from Betel palm nut with Ebony base - 13/16 inch tall & 1 inch diameter.
