woods that Rob uses for turning. He enjoys the challenge involved in
making sets of things, like the nesting bowls, and has been
experimenting with adding bright colours to some of the lighter woods.

Set of rice bowls - 1/4 inch tall & 7/16 inch diameter. The chopsticks are 7/8 inch long.
Set of 6 nesting bowls in 'Pyrex' colors. Smallest bowl is 1/4 inch tall and the largest is 1/2 inch tall & 3/4 inch diameter.
Vase turned from Cocobolo wood - 1 1/4 inch tall & 1/2 inch diameter.
Vase tured from Palm wood - 1 inch tall & 7/8 inch diameter.
Bread bowl turned from Boxwood - 7/8 inch tall & 1 3/16 inch diameter.
Bowl turned from rare Amboyna Burl with Ebony rings - 5/8 inch tall & 3/4 inch diameter.
Japanese garden bench constructed from Ironwood - 2 3/8 long, 1 1/4 inch wide & 1 1/2 inch tall.
This bowl has been turned from Boxwood and treated with stain to give it the look of lacquer - 7/16 inch tall & 11/16 inch diameter.
Bowl turned from Cocobolo and Ebony - just over 1/4 inch tall & 3/4 inch diameter.
Vase turned from Japanese Plum (note the pink tone to this wood) - just under 1 inch tall & 5/8 inch diameter.
Wide rimmed bowl turned from Yellow Cedar Burl - 1 1/8 inch diameter.
Vase turned from Osage Orange wood - 5/8 inch tall & 3/4 inch diameter.
Bowl turned from Holly wood (one of the whitest woods) - 5/16 inch tall & 11/16 inch diameter.
Pair of 'Wedding Goblets' turned from Boxwood - tallest one is just over 1/2 inch tall.
Pedestal bowl turned from Pink Ivory wood (interesting reddish pink color) - 1/2 inch tall & 5/8 inch diameter.
Footed bowl turned from rare Amboyna Burl - 7/16 inch tall & 11/16 inch diameter.
